On 3rd may, 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their First Aid Students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Mr. Saini, Sr. Field Officer motivated the volunteers to work proactively on Organ Donation. Around 60 students from various parts of Punjab, including nurses, participated in the session.
Students were given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Deepika Arora. It was indeed and amazing session as participants asked various questions on organ donation. All the participants were highly motivated and said they will come forth to make it a success in their areas. The session was extended by 20 minutes as students had various queries. Some of the students asked for Donor Cards.
