MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum-Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation with the collaboration of Dainik Bhaskar and Hindustan Zinc at Sohanlal Manihar School Jodhpur on 03.05.2018.
Mrs. Anita Kakkad, Principal welcomed MFJCF- Navjeevan member Mrss. Ranju Jain and thanked for starting such initiatives to make people aware about the organ donation.
More than 500 students of class 11 and 12th attended the session and got vital information about the concepts of organ donation.
Mrs. Ranju Jain described the concept of organ donation with the help of presentation and video.
She covered following points during her presentation.
1. What is organ donation, who, when and how it happens?
2. What is Brain Death?
3. Current Scenario of organ donation in India
4. Difference between brain death and coma
5. Importance of Donor Card
After the interactive question and answer session all students and faculty members and promised to spread awareness about organ donation among their friends and family members.
