MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF)- Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Institute of Engineering and Technology Alwar with the support of Dainik Bhaskar news paper and Hindustan Zinc on 05.05.2018.
More than 300 people (Nursing Staff, Social groups and civilians) attended the session and got sensitized.
Mr. Taranchand Khandelwal, Mrs. Kalpana Mittal and Dr. Lavesh Gupta were the guests of the program.
Mrs. Renu Uba represented the MFJCF Team. Mr. Monu Joshi (Representative Dainik Bhaskar) welcomed MFJCF member and invited her to deliver the talk.
During her presentation Mrs. Renu Uba described the concept of brain death and organ donation with the help of presentation. She covered following points during the presentation.
1. Brain Death and Coma
2. Need of Organ Donation
3. Demand & Supply of Organs in India
After the interactive session all the people in the audience took the donor cards and posed with message board "I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION" and promised to spread awareness about organ donation.
