MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum - Navjeevan Group, in the next phase of Organ Donation awareness campaign at the Panchayat level, to raise awareness about organ donation with the villagers has planned to conduct the talks in Bassi Panchayats in Aug 2018. To start with the program the talk was conducted for all the Sarpanches of Bassi Panchayat, Jaipur, Rajasthan on 26 Jul 2018.
Mr. P.C. Jain, Mrs. RenuUba, Colonel Sunil Dhir and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF -Navjeevan team.
Approximately 50 participants (Members of Jila Prishad, Parshad and Sarpanch) participated in the program. Shri Mohan Lal Sharma (District Deputy Chief), Shri Ganesh Narayan Sharma (Pradhan), and Mrs. Neeru Meena (BDO) were the key officials who attended the program.
During the program, the participants asked a few questions and satisfying answers were given by MFJCF- Navjeevan team members. The questions covered the following topics.
1. Will my family get the money in exchange for organ donation?
2. Does the organ donation happen with the desire of the self or the desire of the family?
3. Can cancer and AIDS sufferers also make organ donor?
4. Can you donate body after organ donation?
After the program, Shri Mohan Lal Sharma, Shri Ganesh Narayan Sharma and Smt. NeeruMeena pledged their organs for donation. They also appreciated the work done by MFJCF-Navjeevan team.
At the end of program all picked up donor card and posed with message board "I Support Organ Donation".
