K&S Partners, organised an awareness program on organ donation for their employees. They invited MOHAN Foundation to deliver talk on 8th April 2014.
The programme started with a welcome speech given by Mr. Avishek, of K&S Partners. Following that Ms. Smeja Paul, Project Manager, MOHAN Foundation delivered a talk on Organ Donation. She concentrated to following topics: Concepts of Organ Donation, Types of Donors, Organs that can be donated after natural and brain death, Importance of Donor Card, Statistics of organ donation, Toll free helpline number.
Totally 24 members participated in the programme and all of 20 wished to pledge their organs and picked the donor card.
