Many of them had heard about the term, but lacked clarity. Chaitanya showed the 5 minutes video on brain death that provided a comprehensive understanding to all. She then explained the THO Act, contraindications to organ donation, causes of brain death and myths related to organ donation. Special stress was laid on the concept of eye donation.

The audience came up with many queries like who is charged for the amount that is being waved off for the donor family, how are appropriate recipients recognised for transplantation etc The questions were handled by the resource persons. Overall the session was quite interactive.
