  • On 21st August 2017, we loMOHAN Foundation's team went to Gill Adarsh Matriculation Higher Secondary School to conduct the final session of the ‘Angles of Change’ program. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde and Mr. Jayaprakash Daniel represented MOHAN Foundation in this session.  19 students and one teacher were part of the session.

The team began the session at 1:30pm, Dr. Hemal Kanvinde  began  by a small recap of previous session which boosted the ‘Angels’ to proceed to the next level of training. After the revision Dr. Hemal Kanvinde directed the participants to write a ‘Thank you Letter’ as though a recipient is writing to her/his donor. This activity provoked the students’ interest on how a recipient will feel after getting a new life through organ transplantation.

A film explaining brain death was played for the students. Two students read the “Life pass it on” poem and the students were asked to write a short poem on organ donation and suggestions were given in order to improve their creative writing skills.

    Two poems for your reading
